Christina Aldan chats with Spencer Lodge in the first part of a four part series. In this episode they take on the subject of persistence.

About Spencer Lodge:

Having trained and coached thousands of people during his career, Spencer Lodge knows what it takes to make things happen. With over 23 years of experience in building businesses and training employees to achieve their full potential, Make It Happen was born out of Spencer’s desire to share his success with people in the industry. Whether you’re an employee that wants to learn how to be a better salesman through our leadership program, or a CEO that wants to cultivate a strong sales and leadership culture in the workplace, Make It Happen has the tools you’ll need to help you on your way. Transform your sales team, redefine your success strategy and realize that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Spencer has won countless awards as global top wealth manager, country manager and regional director. He is 46 years old with two daughters. He enjoys skiing, cycling and most outdoor adventures. He has cycled from London to Paris in July and will be cycling from London to Rome in June 2017 to raise money for charities. He has, to date, donated close to a million pounds to charity over the last ten years helping children in Africa born with HIV and aids.

Dr. Frances Richards joins Christina on the Luckygirl podcast for a thoughtful discussion about her own journey and unlocking her passion and how she now helps others do much the same.

FROM HER WEBSITE:

Hi, I’m Dr. Frances Richards, Strategic Life Coach and your personal Chief Encouraging Officer. My mission is to invoke and provoke YOU to pursue a passionate extraordinary life and not settle for anything less! Within you is something great; a powerful desire that is waiting and wanting to be ignited and released NOW! In life you should do what you love and love what you do!

My Story…

The journey started at Sweet 16, I brought the myth that a college degree would take me to my happily ever after (financial freedom + satisfying career) equals a husband, the house with the white picket fence, two cars and four kids.

To fill my life’s void I ventured down the academic path (BA/MBA/Ph.D.), each road caused more confusion and the struggle to find purpose and passion intensified. Determination, desire and lots of disappointing career moves created a collision with the life coaching industry.

This interception led me to “my” doing what I love and loving what I do Strategic Life Coach and Chief Encouraging Officer.  Now my life is full of fire, passion and purpose.

Over the years I have helped hundreds of individuals unlock their passion and discover their authentic voice.  Many struggle with this same problem and guess what  “I have answers.

20 years ago Tiffany Yu was in a car accident that changed the course of her life forever. October is National Disability Employment Awareness month. On this week’s podcast episode, I had a chance to speak with Tiffany of mydiversability.com to understand how we as entrepreneurs can spark conversations within the workplace, lean in to more disability inclusion, and create a comfortable environment for people to bring their full and complete selves. We also discuss “The Big 8” identifiers and how we can humanize our experiences through personal stories.
